Catfish along with Hybrids. We offer modern, top of the line fishing tackle and equipment; and as a Team Catfish Pro, Capt. Jeff Williams is now running a WELD PRO all-welded aluminum fishing boat on his guided fishing trips (see below). When catfish fishing we use rod and reel. For other types of fish, we use standard live and artificial baits. Lake of the Ozarks Guided Fishing Trips InformationLake of he Ozarks takes up 55,000 acres in central Missouri. Impounded in 1931 and all privately owned waterfront, what a wonderful place for trophy blue catfish fishing trips! I am out serving as a Catfish Fishing Guide on this giant reservoir more than 100 days per year trying to target the blue catfish of a lifetime for clients from all over the country. I can start leading guided fishing trips in the Truman Lake dam area in the spring and eventually end up in the lower Osage arm around the 25 mile marker in the winter. Blue Catfish from 2 lbs. up to 60 lbs. are caught regularly, but since the majority of my clients want to target trophy Blue Catfish, most of my catfish fishing trips will be focusing on primarily catching big catfish. Considering the versatility of the available waters, I may anchor fish or drift fish during my guided fishing trips, depending on what time of year clients show up. There are also many tourist attractions in the area, allowing people to make a nice vacation out of the fishing trip when they are done for the day.
